-TCU dropped to 8-5 this season with its third straight loss.
-TCU has lost three consecutive games for the first time since the opening three games of the 2006-07 season (Maryland, George Washington, Arizona).
-SMU (44.3 percent) snapped TCU's six-game streak of holding opponents to below 40 percent shooting from the floor.
-TK LaFleur posted her second straight 20-point effort, and her fourth overall this season. LaFleur made seven of her final eight shots (4-of-5 from 3-point range) after starting the night 0-of-6.
-Helena Sverrisdottir notched her fifth double-double of the season with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
-Emily Carter tied a career high with 15 points.
-Micah Garoutte fell just short of her first career double-double with nine points and a career-best 10 boards.
