Harkins and Sydorska fall in doubles final

LUBBOCK, Texas - The top-seeded TCU women's tennis doubles duo of Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska fell in the final round in a tough match to the No. 2 seeded Baylor team of Broosova and Zemenova by a score of 9-8(1) on Tuesday at the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional Championship.
Harkins and Sydorska cruised to the championship match after recording an 8-3 victory over the No. 4 seeded Texas A&M team of Blagodarova and Clifford in the semifinals. The trip to the doubles finals marked the third consecutive year that Anna Sydorska has played for the regional doubles crown.
