
Women complete action at the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regionals

FORT WORTH, Texas - No. 2 Anna Lubinsky of Texas A&M defeated fellow Aggie Elze Potgieter 6-3, 6-3 for the singles championship on Monday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center at TCU. In doubles competition, the TCU duo of No. 2 Ana Cetnik and Anna Sydorska made a dramatic comeback after trailing 5-1 to take the championship over No. 7 Hannah Robinson and Megan Falcon of LSU 8-6.
The singles finalists and the doubles champions will receive a bid to the National Indoor Championships in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 2-5.
On the men's side, No. 7 Bojan Szumanski of Texas Tech will face No. 3 Alexander Skrypko of SMU for the men's singles championship at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
In doubles, the No. 6 pair of Andrei Kumantsov and Mikael Pavlov from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will face No. 4 Milan Mihailovic and Miquel Reyes Varela of Texas on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
