Frogs Finish 13th at TRW Challenge

PALOS VERDES, Calif. (Feb. 23) - The TCU women's golf team finished 13th in an 18-team field at the TRW Challenge. Arizona won the event with an 869. TCU shot a three-round 923 score.

Georgia golfer Shauna Estes captured individual medalist honors with a sparkling three-round total of one-under, 212. TCU's top finisher was senior Angela Stanford (Saginaw, Texas/Boswell HS). Stanford, who will represent the United States in the Curtis Cup, continued her hot season with a total of 226, finishing in 22nd place.

The Horned Frogs return to action on Feb. 25-27 with the Midwest Classic in Dallas, Texas. Northwestern is the tournament's hosts.
