Competed in one meet for TCU… Placed 19th at the TCU John McKenzie Invitational (Sept. 1) with a time of 18:45.1.
2022 Cross Country
Ran in five meets for the Horned Frogs … Finished 11th overall at the Gerald Richey UTA Invitational (Sept. 10) … Ran a personal-best 5K time of 18:59.6 at the Texas A&M Invitational (Sept. 16) … Represented the Horned Frogs at both the Big 12 Cross Country Championships (Oct. 28) and the NCAA Division I South Central Regional (Nov. 11).
PRIOR TO TCU
Elena Viejo will join the team, making the move from Madrid, Spain. Her triathlon honors include a third-place finish at the European Junior Cup and Spanish Triathlon Qualifiers for the European Championship. Her third-place finish at the European Junior Cup qualified her to represent Spain in the 2022 World Championships in Montreal, Canada. She took home a first-place finish in both the Madrid Duathlon Championship and Spanish Duathlon Championship.
