JUNIOR (2005-06) - Led the team in the 200-back...earned second-team All-Mountain West Conference honors for the 200-free and 200-back...member of the second-team all-conference 800-free relay squad...participant on the 800-free relay team that recorded the second-best time in school history (7:30.04)...recipient of the team[apos]s Academic Award.
SOPHOMORE (2004-2005) - TCU[apos]s Most Outstanding Swimmer... led the Frogs in the 200- and 500-free, 200-back and 400-IM... earned four medals at the 2005 C-USA Championships... won the gold in the 200-back (2:02.89)... also was a member of the winning 800-freestyle relay that set both meet and school records with a time of 7:25.96... earned silver medals in the 400-IM (4:25.05) and as a member on the 400-free relay (3:25.74)... also finished fourth in the 500-free with a school-record time of 4:56.19... transferred to TCU at the beginning of the spring semester.
At Penn State University - Swam the 200-back, 200-free and 500-back at the Big 10 Conference meet... recorded a 2:02.93 in the 200-back, 1:51 in the 200-free and a 4:58.22 in the 500-free.
High School - Four-time state champion in Spokane, Wash.... 200-back YMCA national champion with a 2:01.2 ... three-time champion in the 200-free... won one state championship in the 500-free.
Personal - Full name is Rikki Jill Covey... born Apr. 17, 1985... daughter of Stan and Leslie Covey... brother, Joe, swam at TCU from 2001-05... majoring in merchandising and accounting.
