FORT WORTH – After a solid performance against Grambling State, TCU punter John Hoyet Chance has been named to Ray's 8 for week two, the Ray Guy Award announced on Monday.
Punters listed on "Ray's 8" weekly list are eligible to be chosen as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week. Ray's 8 and Punter of the Week are determined by the Ray Guy Award Committee.
In week two he had three punts for a total of 127 yards, averaging out to 42.3 yards per punt. Along with this, he had two of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
The Shreveport, Louisiana, native previously was named to the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List.
