TCU’s Matchup Against Texas Tech Slated for ESPNU

Horned Frogs will face Red Raiders on national stage
BRISTOL, Conn. – The TCU women's soccer program is set to have one of its contests this season nationally televised, as the matchup between the Horned Frogs and Texas Tech Red Raiders on Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. will be broadcast on ESPNU, the organization announced Thursday.
This showdown between two of the recent powers in the conference will be one of two Big 12 matchups that is set to be on a national broadcast, as the Red Raiders' bout against Colorado will be the other match set to be nationally televised.
The two teams faced off last October in Lubbock, with the contest ending in a 1-1 draw. After Texas Tech scored in the 25th minute, TCU fired back with a Morgan Brown header off a corner to equalize the game at 1-1 in the second half. In the last 10 matchups between the two programs, TCU holds a record of 5-1-4 against the Red Raiders.
Last season, the Frogs saw one contest be nationally televised, as TCU's College Cup showdown against Florida State was featured on ESPNU.
The Frogs will begin their 2026 campaign on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m., as they will hit the road to take on Wisconsin. TCU's home opener is set for Aug. 16 against UTSA at 7 p.m.
