
Georgia Scott Breaks 800m School Record

STANFORD, Calif. – Racing out on the west coast late into the night, TCU's Georgia Scott took down the Horned Frogs' 800m school record on Friday night at the Payton Jordan Invitational.
The junior came into the meet over a second back of Pro Frog Gracie Morris' 2024 record of 2:03.15. Scott cruised the first lap, staying in the heart of the pack just milliseconds over a minute, and closed strong crossing the finish line second overall in 2:02.92.
Also racing out west was Mohamed Kowa. The senior dropped a solid 3:42.61 personal best time in the 1500m to finish second in his heat and 10th overall in the meet.
The rest of the TCU team awaits their final meet of the regular season in Fort Worth at the Horned Frog Invite on Saturday, May 1.
