WACO, Texas – For the second time in the last three weeks, TCU track and field will race in enemy territory at the Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium on Friday, April 10, at the Baylor Invitational.
Despite a smaller pool of teams attending the meet, the Horned Frogs will race alongside stiff competition that includes No. 1/5 ranked LSU, Tarleton State, San Jose State and the host Baylor. A total of 57 athletes will make the trip from Fort Worth to race, jump or throw.
TCU currently has five athletes ranked in the top 25 in their respective events. On the men's side, Jayden Douglas ranks fifth overall in the 400 hurdles, and Ben Kirbo ranks 16th in pole vault. For the women, London Tucker holds rankings in two events, slotting 14th in the 100m and 17th in long jump. Her teammates Georgia Scott and Tia Williams are ranked 25th in the 800m and 16th in the 400 hurdles, respectively.
Last week, the Frogs competed in the 98th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Texas. On day one, Michael McCloyed secured a win in the University/College section of the men's pole vault, clearing a personal best 5.20m (17-0 ¾). Georgia Scott placed third in the 800m, recording another career best with a time of 2:04.49.
Jayden Douglas tied his own school record of 49.81 in the 400m hurdles on day two, finishing second overall. London Tucker secured a seat in the finals of the 100m dash with a seventh-place finish with a season-best time of 11.21. On the last day of the meet, Tucker finished sixth place in the 100m dash final. Ben Kirbo placed fourth in the University Elite division of the pole vault. He cleared a season best of 5.40m (17-8 ½), which is ranked 16th best in the NCAA in 2026 so far.
