TCU begins play on Monday
FORT WORTH – TCU will compete in the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship presented Allstate starting on Monday at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.
The 72-hole tournament consists of two rounds on Monday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT and one round on Tuesday as early as 10 a.m. and Wednesday as early as 8 a.m. A portion of Wednesday's final round will be shown live on ESPN+.
The Horned Frogs will go with the lineup of Sam Udovich, Toby Wilt, Jack Beauchamp, Lewis Wright, Nathan Miller and Charlie Wylie.

THE COURSE – Par 70 | 7,025 yards
Prairie Dunes has become a destination course for golfers worldwide with its links-style course with rolling hills reminiscent of the seaside courses in Scotland. It was ranked No. 25 in Golf Digest's 2025 list of Americas Top 100 Courses has been ranked the No. 1 golf course in the state of Kansas since 1985. Prairie Dunes has hosted the U.S. Women's Open, the U.S. Senior Open and numerous USGA events as well as the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. It hosted the Big 12 Championship most recently in 2021 and 2023.
TEAM/TOURNAMENT/PROGRAM NOTES
- At the Big 12 Championship last season, the Horned Frogs finished fifth behind Joe Pagdin's seventh place performance to earn a spot on the All-Big 12 Tournament Team.
- The last time the Big 12 Championship was held at Prairie Dunes, TCU finished as Big 12 runner-up at 17-over par. Maxence Giboudot, Gustav Frimodt and Jacob Skov Olesen all were in the top 10 and on the All-Big 12 Tournament Team. Bill Allcorn was the associate head coach at Oklahoma, which won the championship.
- The Horned Frogs' runner-up finishes in 2019 and 2023 are their top placings at the Big 12 Championship.
- TCU has won nine team conference championships with the last one coming in 2009.
- The Frogs have won eight individual conference championships, including three in the Big 12. Those include Gustav Frimodt in 2024, Hayden Springer in 2019 and Julien Brun in 2014.
- TCU has finished in the top four in four of its five tournaments this spring. The Frogs finished second at the Palmas del Mar Collegiate, second at The Desimone Invitational, third at the Watersound Invitational and fourth at the Mountaineer Invitational.
- To end the fall, TCU finished as runner-up at the Ka'anapali Classic on Oct. 29, 2025. The score of 51-under par was the best score by the program since at least the 1993-94 season and total core of 801 was the best ever in that time frame. Udovich's score of 19-under at the Ka'anapali Classic tied for the lowest score vs. par for 54 holes by a TCU player since at least the 1993-94 season. Udovich's total score of 194 was the lowest 54-hole score since at least 1993-94.
- TCU ranks No. 36 in the latest Scoreboard rankings, it matches The Frogs' highest ranking in the three years Bill Allcorn has served as head coach.
- Freshman Nathan Miller was co-champion at the Watersound Invitational with a career-best 9-under 201. The Dallas native earned Big 12 Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance.
- Miller has finished in the top 20 five times this season.
- Udovich leads TCU with a scoring average of 70.67 and has four top 20 finishes. Senior Jack Beauchamp is second in scoring average at 70.87 and Miller is third at 71.04.
