
Freshmen Continue to Pace Frogs in Florida

TCU remains in sixth place
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – Both TCU freshmen continue to lead the way for the Horned Frogs, who remain in sixth place following Tuesday's second round of the Watersound Invitational.
Nathan Miller made seven birdies and a shot a season-best 4-under 66. During the round, he played holes 5-9 at 4-under par. Miller moved up 17 spots to a tie for fifth place at 5-under 135. Sam Udovich shot 2-under 68 to move up to a tie for 14th at 3-under 137.
Toby Wilt was two shots better than the opening round, at 2-under 69. He moved to 1-under 139 for the tournament and in a tie for 31st place.
Charlie Wylie shot 2-over 72 and moved to a tie for 48th place at 3-over 143.
Competing as an individual, sophomore Hudson Wilt had the best improvement from the opening round. After a 2-over 72, Wilt shot 3-under 67 to move up 24 spots into a tie for 23rd place at 1-under 139.
As a team, TCU improved by five strokes, shooting 5-under 275. The Horned Frogs are 5-under for the tournament, which concludes Wednesday after a shotgun start at 9 a.m. CT.
