Three Frogs Named All-America Scholars

Beauchamp, Wright and Wylie recognized
FORT WORTH – TCU's Jack Beauchamp, Lewis Wright and Charlie Wylie were named 2025-26 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars on Wednesday.
Beauchamp, who earned recognition for the second-straight season competed in all 12 events and finished with a career-best stroke average of 71.11. His -0.03 score vs. par tied for the 12th best at TCU. The Grapevine, Texas native averaged 4.53 on par 5 holes, which was the best by any Horned Frog for a single season. He had five top 20 finishes and three in the top 10, which included a pair of third place finishes, at the Palmas del Mar Classic and the Bearcat Invitational. Beauchamp was also a member of the Academic All-Big 12 Team this season.
Wright made the most of his only season of competition for the Horned Frogs finishing with a stroke average of 71.89 and was 0.5 vs. par. The Brentwood Essex, England native finished in the top 20 four times and the top 10 twice. Wright tied for 11th at the Big 12 Championship to earn All-Big 12 Tournament Team honors and last fall, won the DBU Classic with a season-best score of 7-under 209. It was the third academic award for Wright this season which included Academic All-Big 12 and CSC Academic All-District.
Wylie also earned Academic All-Big 12 and CSC Academic All-District honors while playing in 11 tournaments. The Houston native finished with a scoring average of 72.00 and was 0.94 vs. par. Wylie made five eagles, which ranks as the ninth most in a season by a TCU player. His best play came in the final two tournaments with a season-best 19th place finish at the Big 12 Championship and season-best score of 1-under 215 at the NCAA Regional.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
