Horned Frogs begin new year against the Tigers
FORT WORTH – For the first time in 2026 the TCU swimming and diving team is in action, playing host to Trinity on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the TCU Recreational Center.
Last time out, TCU posted a pair of victories at home against Oklahoma Christian. The women's side posted a 198-53 victory, while the men's squad defeated the Eagles 180-71. For the meet, TCU won a total of 25 events on both the men's and women's side combined. There were only three events on the day in which there was not a Frog who finished first.
Thanks to their impressive performances during the meet, Nigel Forbes was named the Big 12 Men's Swimmer of the Week, Shea Skarda was tabbed the Big 12 Men's Newcomer of the Week and Audrey Worgull collected Big 12 Women's Co-Newcomer of the Week honors.
Alongside these three individuals, Avery Dillon, Filip Suchanski, Nina Vadovicova, Taylor Steelman, David Ekdahl, Nicole Christensen and Emma Larcada Herrera have secured Big 12 weekly honors throughout the season.
TCU has earned two sweeps this season, doing so most recently against Oklahoma Christian and also in the season opener against Incarnate Word.

The Frogs will play host to Texas Permian Basin on Jan. 10. The meet will serve as this year's Senior Day, where numerous individuals on the squad will be honored.
