Frogs open 2025 season in South Dakota
HOT SPRINGS, S.D – TCU Triathlon opens the 2025 season on Saturday morning at the Southern Hills Triathlon. The sprint race, which features a 375-meter swim, 10-kilometer bike and 5K run is set to begin at 7:15 a.m. CT.
All 12 members of the Horned Frogs roster are slated to compete. TCU returns eight letterwinners from a season ago and welcomes four new faces to the program.
Last season, TCU won Southern Hills and Beaver County Triathlons to start the season. The Frogs, who were ranked as high as No. 1, wrapped up their season with a fourth-place finish at the National Championship meet, and Kira Gupta-Baltazar and Amanda Moro were named College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) Second Team All-Americans.
This weekend marks the first of five races on the season for the Frogs, who will host the NCAA Regional this October.
