Beauchamp Leads Frogs after Opening Round at The Bryson

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Senior Jack Beauchamp shot 2-under 70 to lead the TCU men's golf team in the opening round of The Bryson Invitational Monday at Daniel Island Club.

Beauchamp made three birdies and is tied for 14^th place overall as he tries for his third-straight top 20 finish.

Toby Wilt and Sam Udovich each shot 2-over 74 and are tied for 46^th place.

Hudson Wilt made an eagle on the 555-yard par 5 to finish 3-under on the front nine but was 6-over on the back. At 3-over 75, he's tied for 60^th place to round out the countable scores for the Frogs.

As a team, TCU shot 5-over 293 and is in 12^th place.

The Frogs will begin the second round at 7:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday.
