Preview: No. 12 Kansas - TCU Athletics

FORT WORTH – TCU (10-7, 3-3 Big 12) will host No. 12 Kansas (13-4, 4-2 Big 12) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in a game that will air on ESPN2.

NOTES
-    The Horned Frogs will wear purple uniforms and encourage all fans to wear purple.
-    Jamie Dixon is two wins away from 500 as a head coach. His 170 wins at TCU rank second all-time.
-    Under Dixon in Schollmaier Arena, TCU is 111-39 overall and 41-33 in Big 12 games.
-    TCU is 9-1 at home this season with the lone loss coming to Utah on Jan. 15.
-    TCU's six losses are all to teams ranked in the top 85 of the NET.
-    Of TCU's 38 wins over AP Top 25 teams in its history, 23 have come under Dixon.

-   The Jayhawks are led by two-time All-American Hunter Dickinson who leads the league with 10.2 rebounds per game and ranks fifth with 15.8 points per game. He has nine double-doubles on the season which leads the conference.
-   KU is one of the top defensive teams in the country ranking fourth in defensive efficiency (89.7), ninth in field goal percentage defense (37.6) and 24th in 3-point percentage defense (29.1).

SERIES HISTORY
-    Kansas leads the all-time series, 26-4, and has won the previous two meetings.
-    KU leads the series in Fort Worth, 10-2. The last win by TCU in Fort Worth came on March 1, 2022, 74-64.
-    Last season's only meeting saw the Jayhawks winning 83-81 in Lawrence after 11 ties and 26 lead changes.

LAST TIME OUT
-    Brendan Wenzel made a 3-pointer with 5.0 seconds left to give TCU a 74-71 win at No. 25 Baylor on Sunday.
-    Wenzel led TCU with 17 points behind four 3-pointers.
-    Ernest Udeh Jr. had a career-high 16 points and a season-high 15 rebounds to go with a career-high four blocks.
-    TCU outrebounded Baylor, 41-25. It was the first time in Big 12 play that the Frogs outrebounded their opponent.
-    TCU shot 50.9 percent from the field, its best effort since shooting 53.8 percent against Texas State on Nov. 12.
