Women’s swimming and diving set for conference dual meet
FORT WORTH – The TCU women's swimming and diving team heads north to Ames, Iowa for its third conference dual meet of the season against Iowa State at Beyer Pool on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The women are off to a 2-2 start in dual meets after taking down BYU 238-134, falling to Texas 192-99, defeating New Mexico State 185-56 and falling to Texas A&M 176-116. In the spring opener against the Aggies the Horned Frogs tallied four gold, six silver and 11 bronze medals. Freshman Nina Vadovicova led the Horned Frogs with two gold medals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke. On the boards, Lauren Cey earned a career high score in the 1-meter dive.
Vadivicova earned the first gold medal of the afternoon in the 100 breaststroke touching the wall at 1:03.65. The Solvakian finished with a 2:17.49 in the 200 breaststroke to earn the Frogs nine points.
Lauren Cey kicked off the springboard event for the Horned Frogs with a career best 313.70 on the 1-meter.
Anna Kwong secured the silver medal for the Frogs on the 3-meter with a score of 319.55.
LAST TIME VS. IOWA STATE
The last matchup between the Frogs and Cyclones was last season in Fort Worth where Iowa State secured the win 173-127.
Iowa State holds a 6-1-1 record with its last win coming from UNI 162-138.
