FROG FOCUS
The Horned Frogs enter the conference tournament after an almost perfect season, where TCU was No. 1 and undefeated for the majority of the regular season, ending with a 31-1 record. The Frogs set a precedent for how the season was going to go when they swept the Third Coast College Classic back in February. From then on, TCU tallied a new program-high with 23 single season sweeps. To top that off, the Horned Frogs finished their third unbeaten season at home, 12-0, and remained the best in Texas, going 36-0 all-time against Lone Star State teams. 14 of TCU's wins this season were against ranked opponents.
As a team, TCU went 151-14 in all matches, the highest winning percentage and the third triple-digit win total in program history.
TCU went undefeated (5-0) against CCSA opponents with the highlight coming on March 10 when the Frogs swept No. 6 LSU. The duos of Daniela Alvarez/Tania Moreno and Hailey Brockett/Rochelle Scott lead the team with a combined 7-0 record in conference duals. Additionally, both pairings were selected for CCSA's All-Conference Team. Anhelina Khmil was unanimously named to the All-Freshman Team.
This will be the fourth-ever appearance by the Horned Frogs at the CCSA tournament. Last season, the Frogs went 2-1 to finish second in the tournament after their first appearance in the championship match against Florida State.
