
Frogs Win Six Events on Final Day of Sooner Invitational

TCU finished the meet with a 4x400 sweep
NORMAN, Okla. – The Frogs collected six event wins on the final day of the Sooner Invitational & Multi.
Jade Ferrell kicked off the winning day for the Horned Frogs with her first-place finish in the high jump. She cleared 1.63m (5' 4.25") for her second win of the outdoor season.
In the men's 4x100 relay, a strong anchor leg from Clinton Muunga propelled the Frogs to victory. The team of him, Emmanuel Ekong, Donnie James and Gregory Sholars clocked a 40.28 to place first.
Ryan Martin continued his successful season with a winning time of 3:51.55 in the 1500m. In the 200m, Iyana Gray dominated the competition and ran a 22.77 (4.0w). She was the only competitor to run sub-23.
TCU closed out the day with a sweep of the 4x400 relay. The women's team of Kiana Banks, Samarra Monrroy, Jasmin Muhammad-Graham and Rylan Engels won with their time of 3:47.79. On the men's side, Donnie James, Simbarashe Maketa, David Seete and Ryan Jordan won at 3:11.76.
Muhammad-Graham finished second overall in the women's 800m with her time of 2:09.60. Also coming in second was James with his season-best time of 46.19 in the 400m.
The women's 4x100 team of Dreunna Washington, Gray, Monrroy and Emma Seetoo took third with their time of 45.76. Also coming in third was Washington in the 200m (23.59) and Monrroy in the 400m (53.97).
