The Horned Frogs host Arkansas, Arizona State and Wichita State
FORT WORTH – No. 7 TCU men's tennis (16-7) begins its NCAA Tournament journey this weekend against No. 43 Arkansas in the opening round of the Fort Worth Regional on Saturday, May 8 at 12 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
TCU is hosting the only regional in the NCAA Tournament in which all four participating teams are ranked. The Horned Frogs are battling No. 43 Arkansas in the opening round. No. 20 Arizona State will take on No. 33 Wichita State as well, with the winning teams playing in the regional final on Sunday, May 9 at 1 p.m.

The Horned Frogs have put together another strong season, claiming their fourth regular season Big 12 title in the last five completed seasons. TCU defeated all five of its Big 12 opponents this season, including three victories over Oklahoma.
TCU leads the country in road victories over ranked opponents, with nine. The Frogs have set a program record with those nine ranked road wins, the most in a single season since the turn of the century. TCU has bested No. 1 Baylor, No. 4 Texas, No. 14 Ole Miss, No. 16 Mississippi State, No. 23 Stanford, No. 26 Texas Tech, No. 29 Pepperdine, No. 33 USF and No. 47 Tulsa in true road matches this season.
The Horned Frogs enter the tournament with five ranked singles players and two ranked doubles teams. The pairing of Alastair Gray and Luc Fomba have moved up to No. 2 in the nation after recording a pair of victories at the Big 12 tournament back in April. TCU has not had a doubles team finish in the Top 5 since All-Americans Ashley Fisher and Jason Weir-Smith in 1997 (No.5). Gray and Fomba are currently tied for the greatest doubles ranking by any Horned Frog duo, tied with Paul Robinson and David Roditi from 1995.
