TCU heads to Denton for its second race of the season
FORT WORTH β TCU's men's and women's cross country teams compete on Saturday at the Ken Garland Invitational at Discovery Park in Denton.

The women's 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. followed by the men's 4-mile at 9 a.m. Division I schools competing include South Central Region teams UNT, UTA and SMU.

Mariah Castillo is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Bear Twilight Invitational 4K this past weekend where she ran a 13:48.5. Lakelin Conrad led the men at the Bear Twilight 6K, placing 25th and clocking in at 19:35.1

Two freshman Horned Frogs will make their collegiate debut between Asiah Fields and Kyla Robinson-Hubbard.

TCU's women's squad is ranked 14thΒ in the South Central Region by the USTFCCCA.

Discovery Park is an all grass course located at 3940 N. Elm St., Denton, Texas, 76207. Admission and parking are both free.
