COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The TCU men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up action at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station.
In the men's 60 meters, sophomore Kolby Listenbee earned a third-place finish with a time of 6.82 seconds. The Horned Frogs were also represented in the finals by freshman Antonio Franklin (6.91), who finished in fifth, and sophomore Cameron Echols-Luper (6.94) in seventh.
Senior Megan Smith placed fourth in the women's shot put with a mark of 15.83m (51-11.25).
Paola Miranda also tallied a fourth-place finish in the women's weight throw at 17.22m (56-6). The sophomore has improved the distance on her best toss in each event this season, this week by almost a foot and a half.
On the men's side, senior Ramone Bailey put up a sixth-place finish at 7.02m (23-0.5).
Sophomore Makaila Flannigan finished fourth in the women's 60 hurdles, clocking in at 8.55.
Adam Damadzic recorded a sixth-place finish in the men's weight throw with a toss of 17.24m (56-6.75).
Sophomore Iphona-Clemence Paiement paced to a seventh-place time in the finals of the women's 60 meters behind a mark of 7.63 seconds.
Redshirt freshman Arin Rice picked up the eight-place time in the women's 800 meters, clocking in at 2:13.79. She improved her time from last week at the New Mexico Team Invitational, which was 2:15.36.
Up next for the Horned Frogs is a trip to Fayetteville, Ark., on Feb. 13-14 for the Tyson Invitational.
