FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU men's 4x400 relay team was named the Big 12 Track & Field Athletes of the Week for their performance at the Arkansas Open last weekend, the league announced today.

The mark was the fastest time in the event by a Big 12 squad this season and ranks fifth in NCAA competition to date. It is also the third-best time in program history.
Watts (third leg) and Baker (anchor) recorded the top splits of any competitor in the race, clocking in at 46.18 and 45.29, respectively.
The Horned Frogs travel to Ames, Iowa, for the Big 12 Indoor Championships beginning Friday, Feb. 27, at 3 p.m., at the Lied Recreation-Athletic Facility.
