Opening statement:
"That looked like a rerun. I've seen that picture before. Obviously, their length caused some problems for us. We had a lot of open shots in the middle of the first half. I thought in the second half, before they made their run, that our guys got real tentative. Texas is a good team like a lot of teams in this league."
On difficulty keeping the team's confidence without results:
"We had a good week of practice, I base it off of that. I think the reality of this is, when you say is it hard to keep your team confident, they understand why we're getting beat. We're not playing very well. We're not rebounding the ball well. We're not shooting the ball very well."
"In terms of me getting them to believe without getting results, the reality is I'm not a big false confidence guy. If you shoot the ball well, you have a chance to be successful. If you rebound the ball well, you have a chance to be successful. If you take care of the ball well, you have a chance to be successful."
"Obviously, we haven't done any of that, so we haven't been successful. I'm not really worried about keeping them confident. That responsibility goes back on them a little bit. We will practice tomorrow at 3:45, and we'll get ready for a very good Oklahoma State team that's playing pretty well right now."
Senior Guard Kyan Anderson
On his effort tonight:
"I tried to come out today and give us extra opportunities to score the basketball. I know right now we're struggling to score the basketball, so I'm just trying to give us more possessions."
On toughness scoring inside against Texas:
"Most definitely, it's Texas. They're huge in the paint. I always tell the guys that if they're going to go down there to make sure they have a plan. Yeah, it's definitely tough."
On whether Coach Johnson is keeping confidence:
"Oh yes, most definitely. It's a tough league. We're trying to find our edge to get us over this hump right now. We know every night we're going to have to bring a lot of intensity and play the best basketball we can play."
