Quotables
"We want to be competitive during the indoor season and we want to be good-to-great in the outside," director of track and field Darryl Anderson said. "Our full team is just getting on the track training, so that's exciting for me.
"Ronnie Baker will run the 60m, so we can get an idea of where he is and we'll run a mile relay with, for the most part, three guys who will be relatively fresh. A couple of the jumpers will jump, Megan Smith will throw the shot put, Tiffany Terry will run the 400m and we'll see where they're at and go from there."
Into the Rankings
The TCU men's squad opened at No. 25 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason computer rankings. It is the highest preseason mark for the Horned Frogs since 2011, when TCU opened at No. 30.
Returning All-Americans
Overall, TCU returns 12 student-athletes who garnered USTFCCCA All-America awards during the 2013-14 seasons.

Baker (100 meters), McSwain (4x400 relay) and Watts (4x400 relay) also received Honorable Mention nods in the outdoor season.
