SAN DIEGO - The TCU football team kicked off its festivities at the 2011 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on Sunday with a visit to the world famous San Diego Zoo.
After taking to the practice field, TCU players were given the opportunity to take in the San Diego Zoo for an extended amount of time in the afternoon. The San Diego Zoo is known as one of the most progressive zoos in the world, with more than 4,000 animals of more than 800 species.
TCU returns to practice Monday for the final time in 2011 before visiting Sea World San Diego in the afternoon.
