TULSA, Okla. - Travis Woolf (Fort Worth, Texas | Paschal H.S.) suffered a 2&1 setback to Christopher Ross in the Round of 32 at the U.S. Amateur on Thursday at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.
The TCU senior earned a berth to the Round of 32 after defeating Brady Johnson of BYU in the first round by a 4&3 tally, but dropped a tightly-contested second round decision to Ross, who recently graduated from Eastern Michigan.
Woolf will return to the links with the TCU men's golf program when the Horned Frogs travel to Bremerton, Wash., for their season opener at the PING/NCAA Preview.
