BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Devan Dumes scored 20 points and Tom Pritchard added 15 points, leading Indiana past TCU 66-56 on Wednesday.
The victory ended Indiana's two-game losing streak, but TCU didn't make it easy on the Hoosiers (5-4).
Zvonko Buljan had 19 points and Keion Mitchem finished with 10 to lead the Horned Frogs (7-4), and their suffocating defense kept them close for 30 minutes. The loss ended TCU's six-game winning streak and a five-game stretch in which it had held four opponents to fewer than 50 points.
Eventually, though, Indiana survived a grueling mishmash of miscues.
The teams combined for 16 turnovers and 19 fouls, shot a combined 38.6 percent from the floor and connected on just 5-of-16 3-pointers in the first half.
