
Frogs Drop 72-67 Decision to Louisiana Tech

The TCU men's basketball team dropped its second straight game as the Horned Frogs suffered a 72-67 setback to Louisiana Tech at the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston, La., on Monday evening.
With the setback - the Frogs fell to 7-5 overall while the Bulldogs evened their record to 6-6 on the 2008-09 campaign.
Ronnie Moss (Fort Worth, Texas | Christian Life Academy) scored a career-high 20 points on 7-of-20 shooting to go along with five assists, three rebounds and two steals in 33 minutes of action.
Zvonko Buljan (Split, Croatia | Vincennes University) recorded his fifth double-digit scoring performance in six games as the TCU forward collected 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting to go along with five rebounds, three rebounds and one assist in 33 minutes of action.
Kyle Gibson led all scorers on the evening as the La Tech guard collected 23 points on 7-of-7 shooting - including 3-of-3 from behind the three-point line - to go along with six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 36 minutes of court time.
The Bulldogs had three players reach double figures in the contest in Gibson, Jamel Guyton (15 points) and Kenneth Cooper (11 points) while La Tech connected on 55.6 percent (25-of-45) of their field goal attempts, including 62.5 percent (15-of-24) in the first half of action.
The Frogs will be back in action on December 30th when TCU welcomes Colgate to the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum for a 3:00 p.m. tip.
