"We seemed to have a different gear in that part of the game. Our rebounding was good, and we seemed to have a lot of people flying up the floor."

"Yeah, I think it took me a while. Coach (Mittie) really helped a lot with adjusting from the junior college level to a D-1 level. In practice it helped a lot because we do a lot of high intensity activities where you have to be on the ball every drill. It took me a while but I'm here."

On the physicality of game...
"I remember that from last year, when I saw San Diego State, I was like `This game's pretty rough.' Any time you have a team like San Diego State that pressures the ball so well, it really challenges you as a player and a team because you have to make decisions with them right up in your face. They are more physical but today, a little more so in the second half than in the first and the refs did a good job of letting us play and not calling it."
