Competed in all four races for the Horned Frogs … Made her debut and recorded a third-place time of 1:04:46.20 at the DeGray Lake Triathlon (Sept. 10) … Her time of 1:04:46.20 ranks third all-time in program history … Led TCU to a first-place finish at the Battle in the Fort Triathlon (Sept. 17) with a fifth-place finish and a time of 1:08.50 … Posted a 21st-place finish at the USAT West Regionals (Oct. 14) with a time of 1:06:21.97 … Buchanan ended the season with a 35th-place finish at Nationals (Nov. 11), posting a time of 1:07:36.20.
PRIOR TO TCU
Jenna Buchanan hails from Bartlett, Ill., where she attended Bartlett High School, competing in cross country, track and swimming. She was a four-time state qualifier and all-conference selection in cross country, as well as a sectional champion and state qualifier in track in the 3200-meter event. Her triathlon honors include winning the Clermont Triathlon and the Jenny Lee Cup in Pennsylvania in 2021.
