SENIOR (2020-21)
Placed second in the 200 back against Missouri with a time of 2:01.79 (Oct. 16)… Finished third in the 200 back and fourth in the 200 fly against Kansas (Oct. 17)… Won the 200 back against SMU with a time of 2:00.29… Took second against Texas A&M in the 200 back with a time of 2:00.84… Finished second in the 200 back, sixth in the 400 yard individual medley and seventh in the 200 yard individual medley at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 24-28).
JUNIOR (2019-20)
Placed fourth in the 100 yard butterfly (59.15) and third in the 100 yard backstroke (59.81) in the Pepperdine Malibu Invite in Malibu (Oct.11-12) ... Finished third in the 200 yard butterfly (2:07.96), was part of the 200 yard medley relay and finished fifth (1:48.66) and in the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:40.99) at the vs. SMU meet in Fort Worth (Oct. 25) ... Placed third in the 200 yard butterfly (2:08.01) and fourth in the 400 yard IM ((4:34.1), contributed to the third place finish in the 800 yard freestyle relay (7:53.74) at the vs. UIW meet in Fort Worth (Nov. 8).
SOPHOMORE (2018-19)
Earned a second-place finish in the 200 IM (2:09.33) at the Big 12 season opener at Kansas (Oct. 27) … placed second in the 200 back (2:04.76), fourth in the 200 fly (209.07) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:07.17) at SMU (Nov. 2) … finished second in the 200 fly (2:08.05) and fourth in the 200 back (2:08.36) against West Virginia (Jan. 12) … won the 200 back (2:03.69) and finished second in the 400 IM (4:32.51) against Incarnate Word and North Texas in San Antonio (Jan. 26) … placed second in the 200 IM B final (2:02.71) and fourth in the 400 IM (4:19.80) at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 27-March 2).
FRESHMAN (2017-18)
Earned a spot in the 400 IM and 200 back finals at the Texas Invitational (Nov. 30-Dec. 1-2) … place third in the 200 IM (2:10.51) at North Texas (Jan. 26) … part of 200 free relay team that finished second (1:43.77), finished third in the 200 breast (2:28.81), fifth in the 200 free (1:59.02) and placed second in the 200 IM (2:13.41) at Texas (Feb. 2) … placed sixth in the 400 IM A finals (4:21.88) at the Big 12 Championships (Feb. 21-24)
PERSONAL
Rice comes to TCU from Neenah High School. She is primarily a backstroke swimmer, but she is very versatile in other events as well. She holds personal-best times of 4:23.0 (400 IM), 2:01.1 (200 Back) and 56.3 (100 Back). She plans on majoring in biology.
