A three-star recruit according to Rivals.com, Price played the last two years for The First Academy in Orlando, Fla. ... averaged team highs of 18.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while helping lead the Royals to a Florida district 3A-5 championship ... he ranked second on the squad in assists (2.3 apg) and steals (1.6 spg) while shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 45.2 percent from 3-point range and 77.1 percent at the foul line ... Price and his family moved to Orlando from Atlanta, prior to his junior year in 2011-12 ... his first season with the Royals saw him contribute heavily for a senior-laden squad that went 27-5 and won its district championship ... a standout in the classroom at First Academy, he is a member of the National Honor Society ...
