Spectrum Named Official Internet, Wireless and Television Service Provider of TCU Athletics
FORT WORTH – TCU Athletics and Spectrum, America's Connectivity Company, today announced a new multiyear partnership naming Spectrum the Official Internet, Wireless and Television Service Provider of TCU Athletics.
TCU Athletics also named Spectrum the Presenting Sponsor of the Frog Walk, the pregame tradition that brings Fort Worth out in force before every home game, making the relationship more than a traditional sponsorship.
The partnership, facilitated by Learfield, includes on-field logos and LED signage at Amon G. Carter Stadium, Coaches Box branding at Schollmaier Arena, branded charging stations for fans on game day, and visibility across men's and women's basketball, baseball and volleyball.
"Spectrum is investing in the full TCU experience," said Mike Buddie, TCU athletics director. "From the Frog Walk to support for our student-athletes and new ways to engage our fans, this partnership will be felt across our programs and throughout Fort Worth."
"This is much more than a logo on the field," said Chris Snyder, Spectrum's regional vice president for Texas. "We're supporting Horned Frog student-athletes and creating new ways for fans to connect with TCU all season. Our employees live and work here, and many are Horned Frogs themselves. This partnership lets us be part of the TCU energy that brings Fort Worth together."
Spectrum will support opportunities for TCU student-athletes through brand collaborations, including social media features and appearances. Spectrum will also serve as a branded partner of the football coaches show and support community activations across Fort Worth.
"Spectrum is a terrific partner to be ingrained in every game day at Amon G. Carter Stadium and Schollmaier Arena," said Jay Fields, general manager of Horned Frog Sports Properties. "We're thrilled to see TCU Athletics Powered by Spectrum come to life this fall and to keep our fans connected during all the action."
The partnership between TCU Athletics and Spectrum was brokered in collaboration with Learfield's corporate partnerships group and the locally based Horned Frog Sports Properties team.
