
Frogs Secure Highest Finish in Director's Cup History

The No. 33 finish surpasses the No. 34 finish in 2022-23.
FORT WORTH - On the strength of the best winter sports total (242 points) in program history, TCU finished No. 33 in the final 2025-26 Learfield Director's Cup rankings, the highest finish in the Cup's history dating back to 1993-94.
TCU's 675 total points were the third-highest in the Big 12 and surpassed the previous high water mark of 669 points during the 2022-23 campaign which saw the Frogs finish No. 34.
The Horned Frogs' big winter was powered by both basketball programs advancing to the NCAA tournament in the same year for the first time in program history. Mark Campbell's women's squad advanced to the Elite Eight and earned 73 points while the men under the leadership of Jamie Dixon earned 50 points.
Rifle, a powerhouse program under the leadership of Karen Monez, was the national runner-up and earned 90 points. Women's indoor track and field picked up 29 points to add to the total.
