Four Power Conference Matchups Headline Nonconference Schedule

Horned Frogs open season on Nov. 3 vs. Oral Roberts
FORT WORTH – TCU will face four Power Conference foes and tip off within the friendly confines of Fort Worth 11 times throughout nonconference play.
The Horned Frogs and head coach Mark Campbell announced the program's complete nonleague schedule, starting with the season-opener on Nov. 3 against Oral Roberts. TCU will also challenge Texas, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State in previously publicized neutral site contests. Headlining the Horned Frogs' Schollmaier Arena slate is a Dec. 13 tilt vs. Penn State.
TCU will have nine opportunities to add to its NCAA-leading 44-game home winning streak in the leadup to Big 12 action. The Horned Frogs begin the season with seven straight home games and conclude nonconference play with back-to-back bouts on the Frog-scaled hardwood.
The anticipated showdown vs. the Longhorns takes place on Dec. 6 at Dickies Arena as a part of the Wild Horse Sports' Lone Star Series. The meeting marks the third time in the last three seasons TCU will challenge a reigning Final Four participant in an out-of-conference affair.
TCU's first pair of Power Conference games unfold over the Thanksgiving holiday in southwest Florida. The Horned Frogs will battle Georgia Tech and Mississippi State on Nov. 27-28 in the Elevance Health Fort Myers Tip-Off.
The Frogs conclude nonconference play vs. the Nittany Lions. The showdown starts a home-and-home deal between the programs that will see TCU return the trip to State College in 2027.
TCU and Penn State have never met in a regular season game. Other first-time opponents are Georgia Tech, Le Moyne (Nov. 5) and Utah State (Nov. 22).
The season-opener vs. Oral Roberts on Nov. 3 is the earliest start date in program history.
The game ignites a stretch that will see TCU play seven times in a 15-day span. A trio of in-state opponents in Tarleton (Nov. 8), Abilene Christian (Nov. 15) and UT Arlington (Nov. 18) will visit Schollmaier Arena during the homestand as will Iona and Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 10 and Nov. 12, respectively.
Preceding TCU's nonconference finale is a midweek matchup against UTSA on Dec. 10.
The Lone Star Series starts when TCU faces Utah State in its first visit to Dickies Arena.
TCU will play at Memphis on Dec. 3 in advance of its showcase game vs. the Longhorns.
In total, TCU will take the court at Schollmaier Arena, a venue it has not lost inside since Feb. 13, 2024, on 18 occasions in 2025-26.
The Big 12 schedule matrix was unveiled in June. Four teams that reached the 2026 NCAA Tournament are set to make their way to Fort Worth; Baylor, Colorado Texas Tech and West Virginia. TCU's remaining Big 12 home games are against BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, UCF and Utah.

The Horned Frogs advanced to the Elite Eight and garnered the No. 6 year-end national ranking for the second straight season in 2025-26, finishing with a 32-6 overall record.
