Craig Named to Manning Stars of the Week List

NEW ORLEANS – Following an efficient performance against Arkansas State, TCU quarterback Jaden Craig has been named one of eight Manning Stars of the Week, the Manning Award announced Monday.
Against Arkansas State, Craig completed 21 of 29 passes for 337 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Frogs to victory. It was his second consecutive 300-yard passing game, and the second straight in which he topped 300 yards on fewer than 35 attempts.
So far this season, he leads the Big 12 in passing yards (903), 300-yard performances (2) and passing yards per game (301.0).
The Manning Award was created by the Allstate Sugar Bowl in 2004 to honor the college football accomplishments of Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning. It is the only quarterback award that includes the candidates' bowl performances in its balloting.
