Chance Named to Ray’s 8 for Week Three

AUGUSTA, Ga. – For the second straight week, TCU punter John Hoyet Chance has been named to Ray's 8, the Ray Guy Award announced Monday.
Punters listed on Ray's 8 weekly list are eligible to be chosen as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week. Ray's 8 and Punter of the Week are determined by the Ray Guy Award Committee.
Chance was stellar once again for the Frogs in Week Three, posting three punts for 158 yards with two landing inside the 20.
He averaged 52.7 yards per punt, the second-highest single-game average by a Frog since Joey Biasatti's 52.8 in 2001.
