Big 12 Announces Conference Schedule

Frogs begin play on Jan. 2
FORT WORTH – TCU men's basketball will open Big 12 play at Houston on Jan. 2 as the conference slate was announced on Thursday.
The first Big 12 home game will take place on Jan. 5 against Arizona State followed by another home contest on Jan. 9 vs. Texas Tech.
The first of three back-to-back road swings will happen on Jan. 12 at Cincinnati and Jan. 16 at Kansas State. The other two will be at Arizona State on Feb. 6 and at Arizona on Feb. 8, which is one of ESPN's Big Monday games, and the final road trip of the season at Iowa State on Feb. 27 and at West Virginia on March 3.
The Frogs host Baylor on Jan. 19, the first day of the spring semester. After a road date at Oklahoma State on Jan. 23, the Frogs will play consecutive home games against BYU on Jan. 27 and Colorado on Jan. 30.
Following the Arizona road swing, TCU will host Oklahoma State on Feb. 13 and Utah on Feb. 16 before hitting the road at BYU on Feb. 20.
Kansas visits Fort Worth on Feb. 24 and the final home game of the year will be against UCF.
Times and TV networks will be decided and announced at a later date.
The 2027 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament will be held March 9-13 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The Big 12 saw eight teams qualify for the 2026 NCAA Tournament with three schools appearing in the Sweet 16, and league champion Arizona advancing to the Final Four. The Conference then had a historic showing at the 2026 NBA Draft with a Conference-record 13 overall selections, a league-record nine first round selections and the No.1 and No. 2 overall picks in BYU's AJ Dybantsa and Kansas' Darryn Peterson, respectively.
TCU returns five players from last season's team and welcomes 10 newcomers for Jamie Dixon's 11th season as head coach of the Horned Frogs. TCU went a program best 11-7 in the Big 12 last season and finished sixth. The Frogs have reached the NCAA Tournament in four of the last five seasons.
