TEAM NOTES
- TCU won the toss and chose to defer to the second half.
- TCU lost its streak of scoring at least 28 points in 30 straight non-conference regular season games. It was the second-longest streak by an FBS team in the last 45 seasons. The Horned Frogs also lost their streak of scoring 30 points in season openers for 10 straight years.
- TCU scored for the 421st consecutive game, the second-longest streak in NCAA history behind Florida (473 games).
- The 10 points from TCU are the least scored by the Frogs since Oct. 21, 2023 against Kansas State.
- UNC scored a safety in the second quarter, the first scored by a TCU opponent since Texas on October 3, 2020.

- Had first career reception.
- First TCU player to have multiple fumble recoveries in a game since at least 1995.
- Posted nine tackles, the most in his career.
- Scored fourth touchdown of his career.
- Had two sacks, the most of his TCU career.
- Dating back to the 2024 season, TCU has had two running backs eclipse 135 rushing yards and both have been Jeremy Payne (174 vs. Cincinnati in 2025)
