Game Themes for 2026 Football Season Announced

Designations revealed for all seven home games
FORT WORTH – Under two months out from the kickoff in Amon G. Carter Stadium, TCU Athletics announced the game themes for all seven home games on Thursday.
To open the season, TCU will 'Light Up The Carter' for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Grambling State on September 12. The following week, the Horned Frogs conclude their non-conference slate with Family Weekend on September 19 against Arkansas State.
As the season turns to October, TCU will celebrate its Hall of Fame Class against BYU on October 3 and then host Homecoming against West Virginia on October 24.
Hosting a home game on Halloween for the first time since 2009, the Horned Frogs' game against Kansas is designated as the "Haunting at The Carter".
Closing out the season, TCU will host 'Freedom Frogs' on November 14 against Kansas State before concluding the home slate on November 21 against Utah with Frog Appreciation Day.
