Din-Mbuh Named Nominee for 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team

Defensive tackle recognized for leadership in service, academics and athletics
NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Recognizing impact through community service, academic achievement and leadership, Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) named its nominees for the 2026 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team on Monday which included TCU defensive tackle Ansel Din-Mbuh.
A senior in 2026, Din-Mbuh is a model for TCU student athletes, possessing a heart to lift up others around him and is incredibly giving with his time and money while leading the team on the field.
The Health Sciences major participates in TCU's annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, providing turkeys to families experiencing food shortages. In addition, he represents the program on player panels with recruits and their families on what life is like transitioning to college and TCU.
Din-Mbuh also held a backpack drive this summer for the local community as part of his back-to-school initiative. Along with this, he also excels in the classroom being named to the 2025 Academic All-Big 12 Team.
The accomplishments continue for the Aldeo native on the field, as in his first season with the Horned Frogs he was a consistent centerpiece in the Horned Frogs defensive line. He totaled 24 tackles and 2.5 TFLs, along with two sacks.

Established in 1992 and presented by Allstate since 2008, the program honors players who use their platforms to strengthen communities and support causes important to them.
