WACO, Texas – A pair of relay wins and a podium sweep in the women's triple jump highlighted TCU track and field's successful Friday at the Baylor Invitational.
The Horned Frog women earned two massive relay wins, storming from behind on the final leg of the 4x100m to chase down LSU and holding off the Tigers again in the 4x400m. Indya Mayberry led the charge in the 4x100m, helping TCU dip under 43 seconds with a time of 42.91, the second fastest in program history and No. 4 in the nation so far in 2026.
In the 1500m, the Frogs were nothing short of dominant. Georgia Scott paced the TCU women, who were seven of the top eight finishers. In fact, six Frogs went personal best times in the race. For Scott it marked her first 1500m win of the outdoor season and shaved nearly eight seconds off her lifetime best.
Drew Oliver led the men and was narrowly edged out at the finish line. Still, the junior earned the runner-up finish in the 1500m in 3:50.22. Zach Troutman and Grant Martinez also registered personal best times in the race.
Tia Williams looked strong in the 400m hurdles. She finished fourth overall with a season-best 57.05, which ranks No. 13 in the nation.
Once again, the Distance Frogs took over on the track. This time in the 3000m, four of the top five men and women in each race were in purple. Camryn Kirkland led the way for TCU, finishing second. Troutman won the men's race, going one-two with Martinez.
In the field events, Serina Ramirez turned in PR throw for the third week in a row. The junior launched her second attempt 14.84m (48-8 ¼). She now ranks No. 7 in the TCU record books.
To no surprise, the Frogs paced the jumps. TCU picked up event wins in both the men's and women's triple jump with all five athletes finishing atop the leaderboard.
Damilare Olukosi made the most of his third attempt, finding a season best 15.33m (50-3 ½) leap. His teammate Jamitrius Jessie wasn't far behind, recording a 14.71m (48-3 ¼) jump on his final attempt.
Finally, Alleah Krote, Hannah Forde and Genesis Jackson closed things out with a podium sweep in the women's triple jump. Krote led the pack with a 12.72m (41-8 ¾) leap which ranks No. 5 all-time at TCU and No. 24 in the NCAA this season. Forde followed with a strong 12.57m (41-3) jump, and Jackson rounded out the top three at 12.39m (40-7 ¾).
