
Track and Field Opens 2026 Outdoor Season at TCU Alumni Invitational

FORT WORTH – TCU track and field opened its 2026 outdoor campaign, hosting over 20 programs at the TCU Alumni Invitational at the Lowden Track and Field Complex.
The Horned Frogs picked up four event wins on Saturday, two of which came in the women's 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Georgia Scott also won the 800m in her outdoor debut with a time of 2:04.68, and Ben Kirbo cleared 5.35m (17-6.5) to take the top spot in the pole vault.
Multiple TCU athletes notched runner-up finishes and personal bests in their respective events as well. The men's 4x100m relay of Justin Frater, Ronnie Kendrick, Evander Thomas and Colton Conyers posted a 40.61 to finish second in the field.
Amari Kiluvia turned in a second-place finish in the 100m hurdles running a 13.59 (2.8 m/s). In the 400m hurdles, her teammate Laila Smith cruised to a second-place result with a personal best 58.47. London Tucker also secured a runner-up finish in the 100m with an 11.42 (2.8 m/s).
In the field events, triple jumper Alleah Krote took home second with a 12.67m (41-7) jump. Javelin duo Sydney Juszczyk (47.89m, 157-1) and Preston Kuznof (65.88m, 216-1) each finished second overall in their respective events.
