FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – TCU's Yannik Knobloch and Indya Mayberry are set to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division I Track and Field Indoor Championships at the Randal Tyson Track Center March 13-14.
After posting top 16 marks nationally in their respective events, the TCU duo officially punched their tickets to the natty. Knobloch will compete in the men's heptathlon, marking his first NCAA Championship appearance, while Mayberry is back in the national meet in both the 60m and 200m for the second straight year. She will look to defend her national title in the 200m that she won a year ago.
Just a sophomore, Mayberry has won six Big 12 titles between the indoor and outdoor championship meets. The Fort Worth native swept the sprint races at the indoor conference meet this past weekend, taking the 60m title in 7.19 and running away with the 200m crown (22.50) with the No. 2 time in the nation and No. 2 in the world in 2026.
Knobloch is the first male heptathlete in TCU history to qualify for the NCAA indoor championship meet. At the Big 12 Championships in Lubbock, he earned a Runner-Up finish in the heptathlon with a total score of 5,846 points, shattering his previous best of 5,425. It marked a new program record and ranks 12th in the nation this season.
Friday's action kicks off at 11 a.m. CT with Knobloch in the Heptathlon. He will compete in four events before wrapping up on Saturday. Mayberry will be in the starting blocks in the 60m and 200m prelims at 5:35 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., respectively. She will need be a top eight performer to advance to Saturday's finals.
