
TCU Through 36 Holes at Chevron Collegiate

Four players post par or better rounds on first day of play
HUMBLE, Texas – TCU posted four rounds of par or better over the first 36 holes of play at the Chevron Collegiate on Monday at the Golf Club of Houston.
The Horned Frogs sit in eighth place at three strokes over par (579).
TCU will start Tuesday's final round within a four-stroke swing of No. 6 Arkansas for fifth place. Only eight shots separate teams five through 11 in a 17-team leaderboard boasting eight nationally ranked programs.
Camille Min-Gaultier was again TCU's top performer, as the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur invitee is tied for 19th at one stroke under par (143).
She posted TCU's low round of the day, shooting a two-under 70 in round one. Min-Gaultier fired a two-under 34 on the front nine in a start that was buoyed by back-to-back birdies on holes five and six. The sophomore has now scored par or better in 53 percent of her career rounds played (29-55). Making her 19th start as a Horned Frog, Min-Gaultier will look to notch her 10th consecutive top-20 finish dating back to March of 2025.
Kirstin Angosta and Sofia Barroso Sá are two strokes back of Min-Gaultier and tied for 31st at one-over. Angosta shot an even 72 in round one while Barroso Sá went under par with a 71 in the afternoon 18-hole stroll.
Barroso Sá matched Min-Gaultier with six birdies. TCU's lone senior competing, Barroso Sá's first birdie was the 350thin her career. She became only the third player in program history to tally 350 career birdies and is three shy of overtaking Sabrina Iqbal for second on the Horned Frogs' career records list. The Portugal native needs 35 birdies to anoint herself as TCU's all-time leader.
Sofie Dimitrova closed birdie on three of her first four holes in round two en route to an even-par scorecard. She is tied for 41st at two strokes over par.
Freshman Yvette O'Brien finished seven-over and is tied for 64th.
No. 16 North Carolina leads the field by five strokes after shooting a 15-under 561.
Oregon's Kiara Romero, the No. 1 ranked world amateur golfer, tops the individual leaderboard at eight-under (136).
Tuesday's final round commences with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. TCU is paired with Indiana and Texas State and will tee off on holes seven through nine
