
TCU Men Punch Five Tickets to NCAA Outdoor Championships on Day Three

Frilot, Douglas and Crockett earn individual spots; both relays advance
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – TCU track and field's men punched five tickets to the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships on Friday night at E.B. Cushing Stadium.
Lloyd Frilot, Jayden Douglas and Kashie Crockett all secured their spots in Eugene on the track and both of the Horned Frogs relays advanced to the national meet, giving the TCU men a total of six entries with Preston Kuznof's javelin berth on Wednesday.
The Frogs' 4x100m opened the action on the track with a bang. Running in the first heat, Coulaj Eans, Kashie Crockett, Jordan Parker and Sanjay Salmon ran a season best 39.44 and then patiently waited to see their time hold up as one of the top 12 and punch their ticket to Eugene.
In the 800m, Frilot crossed the finish line third in his heat to punch his ticket to Eugene. The senior turned in a 1:47.15 to finish eighth in the west region overall. It marks Frilot's first trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Douglas came in with one of the top seed times in the 400m hurdles and delivered. The sophomore finished third in his heat to automatically qualify for the national meet in 49.81. The sophomore school record holder will represent the Frogs on the national stage for the first time in his career.
Running his signature event, Crockett booked his ticket back to the championship meet for the second straight season. The senior finished third in his heat and eighth overall with a career-best time of 20.32 (+1.1 m/s). It also marks the eighth fastest performance in TCU history.
In the final event of the night, the men's 4x400m relay of Ronnie Kendrick, Douglas, Destin Drummond and Frilot helped the Frogs go five-for-five on the track. The quartet turned in a season-best 3:04.12 to punch their ticket to the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Damilare Olukosi saw his season end in the triple jump. The junior posted his second-best jump of the season at 15.80m (51-10) to finish 17th overall, just eight centimeters shy of a qualifying mark.
