TCU to celebrate 11 seniors Saturday
FORT WORTH – No. 2 TCU Beach Volleyball (21-5) returns home as it hosts the Fight in the Fort on Friday and Saturday. The Horned Frogs welcome HCU, Missouri State, No. 13 GCU and ULM.
The Sandy Frogs are sitting at the No. 2 spot in AVCA Coaches Poll this week. This is the fourth week in a row for the team to be ranked in the top two.
The No. 4 pairing for TCU, Anhelina Khmil and Ana Vergara, earned Big 12 Pair of the Week honors following their 3-0 performance together last weekend. The pair is 13-0 on the season and holds 31 wins together in the all-time records.
Three Horned Frogs have the potential to hit their 100th career win this weekend: Maria Gonzalez (97), Hailey Hamlett (97) and Ana Vergara (99).
TCU will celebrate the graduating seniors Saturday, following the ULM match. The senior squad coming into this weekend have 588 combined career wins, 16 pair of the week honors (five of which are national AVCA/CBVB), three AVCA All-America honors and two who appeared in the Olympics.

Scouting the Opposition
HCU travels up the road with an 11-15 record. In the all-time series TCU holds the lead in the all-time series 14-0. The last six meetups with the Huskies, TCU has swept them. The Horned Frogs currently hold a win record of 40-0 against teams from Texas.
Missouri State heads to Fort Worth at 16-5. TCU has yet to lose to the Bears, holding a 4-0 record in the all-time series. The three last meetings between the two programs TCU swept Missouri State.
No. 13 GCU comes into the weekend with a record of 19-8. In the all-time series, TCU trails 5-3. The last time the two squads saw each other was on April 29, 2023, when TCU won their first conference championship under CCSA.
ULM heads to Fort Worth at 12-17. The Horned Frogs have yet to lose to the Warhawks, holding a record of 8-0 in the all-time series.
