Frogs kick off spring season at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
FORT WORTH – The TCU equestrian team is set for their annual trip to the John Justin Area to open their spring season. The Frogs will take on South Dakota State at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30.
The meet will start with Fences, followed by Flat, Reining, and conclude with Horsemanship.
The Horned Frogs concluded their fall season with a 5-3 record, remaining undefeated at home and in conference play. Four of the five victories came against ranked opponents. TCU held a top three spot in the NCEA weekly rankings for 10 consecutive weeks and will enter the spring season ranked third.
TCU DAY AT THE FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW
January 30th is TCU Day at the Rodeo! Come say "howdy" and cheer on your fellow Horned Frogs by wearing purple and receiving free admission to the rodeo grounds as well as the equestrian meet!
LAST TIME vs. SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
The last time TCU saw South Dakota State was January 2023, where the Horned Frogs secured a 16-3 win. The Frogs hold an overall 10-4 record over the Jackrabbits.
